Welcome to House Konnect. These Terms & Conditions apply when you request or use our removal, moving, transportation, packing, loading, and related services. By booking our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Quotes & Bookings
- Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer.
- The final price may change if the actual requirements differ from the information originally provided.
- Additional charges may apply for extra items, additional labour, waiting time, difficult access, or services not included in the original quotation.
- A booking is only confirmed once the required booking details and payment/deposit arrangements have been completed.
2. Payment
- Any required deposit must be paid to secure the booking.
- The remaining balance must be paid according to the payment terms agreed at the time of booking
- Additional work or services requested after the original quotation may incur extra charges.
- Delayed or outstanding payments may affect the completion or continuation of the service.
3.Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Customers should provide as much notice as possible if they need to cancel or change their booking.
- Cancellation charges may apply depending on how much notice is provided.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability.
- We reserve the right to postpone or cancel a service where circumstances such as severe weather, safety concerns, vehicle problems, or other unforeseen events make it unsafe or impractical to proceed.
4.Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about the collection and delivery locations.
- Informing us about stairs, restricted access, parking limitations, or other access issues.
- Ensuring suitable parking or access is available where required.
- Clearly identifying any fragile, valuable, or special items.
- Disconnecting appliances and preparing items for transportation where required.
- Making sure items are ready for collection at the agreed time.
5.Items & Property
Customers should inform us in advance about any unusually large, heavy, fragile, valuable, or difficult-to-handle items.
We may refuse to transport an item if we believe handling it could create a safety risk or cause damage to the property, vehicle, equipment, or people involved.
6.Delays & Additional Time
Moving times can vary depending on traffic, access, parking, loading conditions, the number of items, and other circumstances.
If a job takes significantly longer than originally estimated because of circumstances outside our control or because the requirements differ from the original booking, additional charges may apply.
7.Acceptance of These Terms
By requesting and booking our services, you confirm that the information you have provided is accurate and that you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
